Hey! I knew you would find me. I was wondering what took you so long. We don't have much time left so let's just let bygones be bygones, OK? I have so much to tell you. xoxo alice pham tomljenovic

The world looks like a mathematical equation which--turn it how you will--balances itself. Every secret is told, every crime is punished, every virtue rewarded, every wrong addressed, in silence and certainty.
--Ralph Waldo Emerson

Every once in a while, I think about the cosmos and the infinitesimal blip that I contribute. It takes a while for me to get out of human drama mode and slip into something more metaphysical. I'm about one third into my life, so I can't help but want every subsequent minute to count. I find that when I'm unhappy or dissatisfied, it's because I lack integrity in some area of my life--an exaggeration here, an avoidance there, a late arrival somewhere else--they all seem to add up. So I check and then I re-check and make sure that I have all my ducks in row. I think that's the key to happiness: line up one's ducks and trust in Providence, not depend on it.
