neither pride nor prejudice

When I saw the dull trailer for Pride and Prejudice, I could barely keep from rolling my eyes into the back of my head. Were they serious? Yet another adaptation? With Keira Knightley? That soccer chick? Was it even possible to make anything better than the BBC version with Colin Firth playing the ultimate Mr. Darcy? Yes, yes and yes! The newest adaptation is loads of fun and will not disappoint even the snobbiest Jane Austen fan. Keira Knightley is fantastic as Lizzie despite frequent closeups of her underbite (thanks for pointing that out, Mick) and her ever-so-slightly collagened lips. And ohhh, the new Mr. Darcy is a total heartthrob.
